Help people find relief — and build the community that spreads it.
Reveri helps people find fast, drug-free relief from chronic pain, stress, poor sleep, and unwanted habits — 77% of users report less pain after a single session, and 84% report reduced stress and anxiety. Sessions are AI-guided and interactive, adapting in real time to what each person needs, and most take about ten minutes. Co-founded by Stanford’s Dr. David Spiegel, every session is built on his 50+ years of peer-reviewed research. We’re a small, distributed team with a devoted base of daily users.
Community Engagement and Growth Lead
The job
We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and genuinely curious Community Engagement and Growth Lead to build the Reveri community and make it work in both directions: inward, deepening our members’ engagement with the practice and with each other; and outward, turning that community into Reveri’s most powerful growth engine.
Inward: chronic pain, poor sleep, and stress are isolating, and building a new practice is hard to do alone. You’ll create the place where members connect, share progress, and keep each other going — making community itself one of the reasons Reveri becomes a lasting habit.
Outward: you’ll make Reveri the product people recommend when someone they know is dealing with real, chronic pain, sleep trouble, or stress. Be where people already talk about these problems, help our members show up and share their stories there, and listen closely to what they say. You’ll turn what you learn into clear input for our product team, and into lifecycle and user acquisition campaigns you will help build and test.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead the Reveri community — a place where members connect, share progress, and keep each other going, not just a home for power users. You’ll define the vision and lead its implementation, from existing community platforms to community elements woven into the Reveri product itself, shaping how our product team brings them to life.
- Bring the community to life and keep it alive: the programming, conversations, rituals, and member-to-member connections that make it a place people return to — and that make the practice itself stick.
- Map the online communities that already exist around chronic pain, sleep, and stress — forums, subreddits, and groups where people are dealing with a real problem and looking for a recommendation — and mobilize Reveri’s members to show up and share their experiences there.
- Identify power users able to speak publicly about the product, and micro-influencers worth bringing into the community.
- Build our testimonial pipeline: find the members with unexpected, credible stories — “I came for pain and started sleeping again” — and help them tell those stories publicly.
- Talk directly with power users and combine that with our existing research, commissioning new research where needed to build a clear picture of who Reveri actually works best for.
- Feed these community insights into our positioning and messaging, working with the CEO and product team.
- Translate what you learn into real campaigns: in-product lifecycle work and community programming that reinforce the habit, and test campaigns aimed at user acquisition.
What success looks like
A thriving member community that measurably deepens engagement and retention — and drives growth: a steady pipeline of public advocates and testimonials, new members arriving through community-driven word of mouth, and lifecycle and acquisition campaigns, built on community insight, that measurably move the funnel.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience in community building and engagement, lifecycle marketing, or user acquisition. We care about what you’ve built and the results you can show, not years of tenure.
- Experience at a healthcare, wellness, or habit-changing product where the mandate was to help people keep doing the thing: meditation, sleep, fitness, recovery, or chronic-condition management.
- Experience building, or significantly expanding, an online community.
- Lifecycle marketing experience: you have turned a user insight into an onboarding, activation, or re-engagement campaign that measurably changed user behavior with sustained effect.
- Comfort holding sensitive health topics with empathy and accuracy, and working closely with clinical input to keep content credible.
- A proactive, independent problem-solver, comfortable in a small, fast-moving team with very little process.
Nice to have
- A track record of turning user research or community conversations into real messaging or product change.
- Existing relationships with health and wellness micro-influencers, ideally built through community and advocacy rather than paid posts.
- A genuine belief that hypnosis works, or the curiosity to find out why it does, and the instinct to help a skeptic get there too.
